The Latin and Ballroom faculty offers structured training in both social and competitive styles. Whether you’re dancing socially or training competitively we encourage you to meet fellow dancers, make new friends and dance the night away at our monthly social evenings, free to registered students. We offer private lessons and group classes for singles and couples and participate in local and international competitions.

Warren Geyer
Managing Director &
Faculty Head
With over 20 years of teaching experience in Latin and Ballroom, Warren leads Evolution Dance with precision, passion, and purpose.
Warren trained under respected industry leaders including Harold van Buuren, Salome Sechele, and Yulia Kharlova, bringing world-class insight to every class. A former SADTA SF South African Professional Latin Champion, Warren is also the reigning South African Open Advanced Line Dance Champion (3 years running) and the 2024 World Dance Masters Advanced Open Solo Line Dance World Champion.
Warren has trained multiple Gauteng and South African Pro-Am Champions and is American Style Associate–qualified as both instructor and adjudicator.

Freedom Mabizela
Latin, Ballroom & Salsa Specialist
With almost 30 years experience in American and International style dances, Freedom is our Salsa specialist who spent time training in Cuba.
Freedom teaches Latin, Ballroom, and Salsa with emphasis on technique and timing. With the ability to help dancers feel confident both socially and on the competitive floor Freedom is charismatic, welcoming and energetic.
Whether you’re learning for fun or refining performance quality, Freedom creates an engaging space where progress feels natural and enjoyable.

Latin & Ballroom Instructor
Mark has been a dedicated Latin and Ballroom instructor since 1998 with a strong passion for learning, growth, and sharing the joy of dance. With a focus on clear fundamentals and supportive guidance, he creates classes that are welcoming, encouraging, and confidence-building. An American style and wedding couple specialist, Mark’s patient and detail-focused teaching makes him especially effective with beginners and developing dancers. His enthusiasm and care bring out the best in every student.
