Meet the Team
Warren Geyer
Managing Director, Faculty Head Latin & Ballroom and Line Dance
With over 20 years of teaching experience in Latin and Ballroom, Warren leads Evolution Dance with precision, passion, and purpose. He has served as Managing Director for 14 years, shaping the studio into a trusted space for both social dancers and competitive performers.
Warren trained under respected industry leaders including Harold van Buuren, Salome Sechele, and Yulia Kharlova, bringing world-class insight to every class. A former SADTA SF South African Professional Latin Champion, Warren is also the reigning South African Open Advanced Line Dance Champion (3 years running) and the 2024 World Dance Masters Advanced Open Solo Line Dance World Champion. He has trained multiple Gauteng and South African Pro-Am Champions and is American Style Associate–qualified as both instructor and adjudicator.
Freedom Mabizela
Latin, Ballroom & Salsa Specialist
Freedom started dancing in 1998 and has experience in American and International style dances. A salsa specialist who spent time training in Cuba, Freedom teaches Latin, Ballroom, and Salsa with emphasis on technique, timing, and partner awareness. His classes are welcoming, energetic, and designed to help dancers feel confident both socially and on the competitive floor. Whether you’re learning for fun or refining performance quality, Freedom creates an engaging space where progress feels natural and enjoyable.
Mark Schoeman
Latin & Ballroom Instructor
Mark has been a dedicated Latin and Ballroom instructor since 1998 with a strong passion for learning, growth, and sharing the joy of dance. With a focus on clear fundamentals and supportive guidance, he creates classes that are welcoming, encouraging, and confidence-building. An American style and wedding couple specialist, Mark’s patient and detail-focused teaching makes him especially effective with beginners and developing dancers. His enthusiasm and care bring out the best in every student.
